Jayveon is a driven scholar at Norfolk State University, where he not only excels academically as a Political Science and History scholar but also serves as the dynamic Vice President of the freshman class. Beyond his academic pursuits, Jayveon is deeply engaged in fostering positive change within his community. As a proud member of the "King in You" organization, Jayveon embodies its founding principles of "Empowered Men, Empowering the Generation of Gentlemen." Through this platform, he actively works to uplift and inspire others, striving to create a legacy of empowerment and leadership. Previously, Jayveon served as the President of the VA State Conference of NAACP Y&C and the Roanoke NAACP Youth Council, where he spearheaded impactful initiatives and advocated for marginalized communities.
